Zoran Ilieski is a Senior Non-Key Expert under the EU-funded Technical Assistance project supporting the improvement of the enabling environment for civil society organisations in North Macedonia. His work within the project focuses on civil society dialogue, participatory governance, and the institutional functioning of mechanisms for cooperation between public authorities and civil society.
He provides expert advisory support to the Council for Cooperation between the Government and Civil Society, contributing to the strengthening of its governance framework, internal procedures, and consultative role. His engagement includes support to the operationalisation of the Council, the development and alignment of key institutional documents, and the facilitation of structured dialogue and consultation processes.
Zoran Ilieski has more than fifteen years of professional experience in the field of civil society development, youth participation, and public policy dialogue at local, national, and regional levels. He has worked extensively with civil society organisations, public institutions, and international partners on issues related to participatory policy-making, institutional capacity building, and cooperation frameworks between governments and civil society.
